Jason Bau

MANAGING DIRECTOR
Jason has almost 20 years’ experience in the geotechnical field and is passionate about raising the standards in the industry.
Jason regularly presents on geotechnical matters as a Member of Engineers Australia, the Standards Australia WS-014: Plumbing and Drainage Sub Committee and a former member of the Housing and Engineering Design and Research Association (HEDRA). He has also presented papers at state and national levels.
Jason enjoys working with soils in his spare time, too, through his homegrown veggie patch. Homemade pasta, cricket and collectables are other ways he enjoys investing his free time.

Sam is a highly experienced civil and structural engineer with more than four decades in the industry, bringing deep expertise in structural design, stormwater and hydraulic solutions, temporary works certification, and project and design management.
Known for his warm, collaborative style, Sam is a dedicated family man who values giving back to his community and enjoys unwinding with a long daily walk.

Letty Gomez
BSc (Civil) & Masters (Project Management)
ENGINEER
Letty joined AW Geotechnics in 2021, bringing more than 12 years of experience in project management across commercial, residential, and retail building projects in Australia and internationally.
Her strong work ethic and loyalty are central to her approach, and she is eager to learn and grow within her field. Letty finds fulfillment in helping clients and overcoming challenges.
Outside of work, Letty appreciates quiet moments with a good book and good wine. She values time with loved ones and enjoys activities like watching movies, traveling, dancing, shopping, and indulging in good food.
